We have two wonderful female vocalists appearing at Lula Lounge in the coming week. This Sunday night, MPC music presents a night of cabaret with chanteuse Masi Eisler and the Norman Amadio Quartet. On Tuesday, November 29 Fado Blues returns to Lula featuring the incomparable Catarina Cardeal and guitarist Mike Siracusa performing a unique blend of blues, jazz and traditional Portuguese Fado. Dinner reservations are available both evenings so book ahead and guarantee your seating.

CUBAN FRIDAYS ARE BACK IN DECEMBER

Every Friday, we offer a $49 dinner, dance lesson and show package that features the best Cuban music in the city. Chef Crinson's new holiday season menu will entice you with its tropical fruits and fresh herbs. Treat yourself to a mojito and let your soul be transported to directly to Havana. We've asked a variety of dance instructors to lead the Friday classes to give beginners a chance to sample different styles.

DAVID BUCHBINDER RETURNS TO LULA

On Sunday, December 4, David Buchbinder's Flying Bulgar Klezmer Band, Canada’s coolest contribution to slammin’ Semitic sounds, returns to Lula Lounge for a pre-Chanukkah throw-down with their friends Medina, the world’s hottest (and only?) Yiddish/Arabic/Jazz fusion ensemble. Bulgar leader & trumpeter David Buchbinder, fresh off the successful release of his first solo Jazz CD SHURUM BURUM Jazz Circus, is the common denominator between the evening’s two bands, performing as well with Medina.
